In the dark I see you
In my sleep I am awake
In my absence I am loved
Where I lay, flowers bloom
While they burst and whither, I am Permanence
While everyone is holding dearly to their beloved ground, I float, adrift
I’m in the air when they put me underground
Sailing in the wind, you call my name
Calling me to stay
But let me tell you
I’m not in the void, cold and stiff
A part of infinity is where you’ll find me
Dissolve but whole
Afloat in my slumber
